Grangegorman (Irish: Gráinseach Ghormáin) is on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. Currently part of Grangegorman is being developed as the Grangegorman Campus.

[edit] Grangegorman Campus

The Grangegorman Campus is a 750 million education and health development by the Grangegorman Development Agency for Dublin Institute of Technology and the Health Service Executive (formerly the Eastern Regional Health Authority). The site's design has been provided by the American architectural firm of Moore Ruble Yudell under the direction of Irish-born Architect James Mary O'Connor. The surrounding community is an equal stakeholder in the project and receives its technical support from the Grangegorman Community Forum.

The campus, at 29 hectares, is the largest undeveloped site in the City of Dublin. The move by Dublin Institute of Technology should be complete by 2011 and will be Ireland's largest higher education campus when complete. The Health Service Executive will also have improved facilities. It is also expected that the campus will be linked to the proposed Luas extension from the city centre to Liffey (Railway) Junction.
