Grajek is a Polish surname. The literal translation of "Grajek" is "one who plays in a small band, musician." Many Grajeks live in Michigan, especially in Detroit. Another large concentration is in Chicago, with the original Grajeks coming from Poland in the late 1800s. Many others live in New York. There are not very many with the surname in the U.S, only about 100 listed on the online white pages.
