Looks good. I like the lesson breakdowns. Now we just need to make up the individual objectives and plan the actual teaching and learning. Are you still wanting to break it up with me taking lessons one and two and you taking the last couple??
We'll need a lot more LA standards...there are so many LA standards. Figured this first one would sort of cover the presentations at the end. What do you think?
Yeah, we could use a few more. I agree that one meets the standard for the final. What about a few pertaining to writing? I suppose we need to add both titles to the lessons but also specific teaching methods, ie...movie, lecture, reading, powerpoint, etc...plus activities for each day and attach that with the specific PI's for the lesson and objectives. Plus add in the Taxonomies. You have any ideas for actual teaching methods? Or should we assign the Objectives first? Probably objectives, eh? I'll add some and you can see if you agree, feel free to change whatever.
Objectives first. I think I won't be working on this too much more tonight, instead getting some other stuff done. We sure do have a lot more work to do on this to even get that first lesson done though.
We need to figure out what will be some of the criteria for judging what is a wonder and what isn't. We can let the students work on this as a discovery exercise, but we should have some ideas in mind as well. Do you have any resources that go into this at all?
I briefly looked at this page and there may be some useful information and ideas for criteria here....http://www.greece.k12.ny.us/ath/Library/teachers/epsilon/connell/wonders2003/exploration.htm
