Talk:Government of the 1st Scottish Parliament

[edit] Article name
As someone who originally raised the name change of the Scottish Executive to Scottish Government (a bit early it turned out!), i'm not sure this is at the right name. At the time it was the Scottish Executive, so shouldn't this sit at Executive of the 1st Scottish Parliament? Regan123 19:11, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- I created and then subsequently moved Executive of the 1st Scottish Parliament for consistency, its either or with me the Executive was the Executive (government) so the current title still works. --Barryob Vigeur de dessus 20:55, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- OK. Could we alter the intro line to make it clear it was the Executive at the time. I do go for consistency normally, but here I think the "rebranding" may turn out to be a more significant event in the future. Clarifying the change is good for our readers. Regan123 21:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Done :). --Barryob Vigeur de dessus 21:36, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks - that was quick! It's nice to come across articles like this - clean and effective. Regan123 21:44, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- No problem previously all the lists where on one page see here and it was getting quite messy so I broke them up and swiped the layout from the Irish Government . --Barryob Vigeur de dessus 23:05, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
