Description

Virginia Governor Tim Kaine thanks the first responders for their work responding to the Virginia Tech massacre at the 2007 Virginia Tech Hokies football team's home opener against East Carolina University. Pictured, from left to right, are Virginia Tech Board of Visitors rector Jacob Lutz, Virginia Tech President Dr. Charles Steger (en), Virginia governor Tim Kaine (en), 2nd Lt Sarah Walker of the Blacksburg Rescue Squad [1], James Downing of the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad, Blacksburg Police Chief Kim Crannis, Virginia Tech Police (en) Chief Wendell Flinchum.
