Both articles on Mark Knopfler and Jonathan Edwards claim they were born in Glasgow and London, respectively, which hardly makes them natives of Gosforth. - Dudesleeper 20:41, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Mark Knopfler was born in Glasgow, but he moved to Gosforth as a child. Mankind 2k 16:09, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

I am concerned about the neutrality of the statements about the Supermarkets in Gosforth.

Have changed this to the correct figure from the 2001 Census. An earlier edit had entered in error the figure for Gateshead, some ten times larger.Terwilliger 20:08, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
