[edit] Use of Whin in NW Ireland
Is anyone familiar with a tradtional use of whin bushes (gorse) to decorate the door way of a house. I remember this being common in the North West of Ireland in the past (I think the tradition has died away) I think 'whin day' was around May 1st but I'm not sure. --62.40.38.33 (talk) 17:20, 6 January 2008 (UTC) Above comment is mine.
