Gordon Prentice (born January 28, 1951, Edinburgh) is a politician in the United Kingdom.

He went to the independent George Heriot's School in Edinburgh, then went to the University of Glasgow, where he received an MA in Politics and Economics in 1972 and was president of the union. From 1982-92, he worked for the Labour Party Policy Directorate.

He is Labour Party Member of Parliament for Pendle and was first elected at the 1992 General Election.
[edit] Personal life
He was married to fellow MP, Bridget Prentice (nee Corr) on December 20th 1975, then divorced in 2000 although had been separated since 1997.
