Gordon Innes

Gordon Donald Innes (October 8, 1910November 6, 1992) was a rugby union and rugby league player. He was born in Dunedin, New Zealand and died in Christchurch.

He played 31 games in the second-five-eights (Inside centre) position for Canterbury and seven games (including two tests) for the All Blacks on their 1932 tour of Australia. Following that tour he accepted an offer to play the professional game in England, appearing for Leeds and Castleford, and he appeared for England in a league test against France in 1935.

Innes was a graduate of Christchurch Boys' High School. [1]
