[edit] Contesting Article for Speedy deletion

This article has been tagged as not matching upto notabillity. No evidence has been given in support of this. A quick google search on G. G Bewoor gives this result including books which have extensive sections dedicated to the person. Searching Gopal Gurunath Bewoor gives this result. Also, the fact that this person was the chief of the Indian army, leading three opeations, and subsequently India's ambassador to Denmark, should indicate that this person is notable enough. He may not be known in some circles, but he is definitely quite known in the Indian Subcontinent. A look at {{1971 Indo-Pak war}} and 1971 war article should indicate this.rueben_lys (talk) 12:31, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
