Gooroodas Banerjee

Sir Gooroodas Banerjee , LLD, KCIE was a Bengali Indian judge of the Calcutta High Court. In 1890, he also became the first Indian Vice-Chancellor of University of Calcutta.[1] [2] He was educated at the the prestigious General Assembly's Institution (now Scottish Church College) and at the University of Calcutta.
