[edit] NPOV

I made a few minor changes to some of the wording in the "Post-Campaign Developments" entry because they seemed biased and had poor grammar. They stated that "Although Mrs. Ameri has not fully disclosed her travel(s) to Iran, while a US citizen, and her family's questionable dealings with the Iranian officials. She has been appointed to be a voice for Human Rights, while not completely being forthright about her association with people with questionable allegiance to the US and the American way of life."

I changed this portion to say "It has been claimed that Mrs. Ameri has not fully disclosed her travel(s) to Iran, while a US citizen, and her family's dealings with Iranian officials have been questioned. She has also been appointed to be a voice for Human Rights, and has been criticized for not being forthright about her association with people that are alleged to have a questionable allegiance to the US and the American way of life."

I know absolutely nothing about what this paragraph refers to, however, so please edit this if my grammar/NPOV corrections seem to have changed the entry's meaning.

[edit] Conflict with David Wu article

Reader Richard sent an e-mail to the Wikimedia Help Desk.

The Wikipedia articles on "David Wu" and "Goli Ameri" contradict each other.

The former says: "Ameri chose to barely discuss the issue in the last days of the campaign, a decision that many cited as a factor in her decisive loss."

The latter says: "Ameri heavily pushed the issue in the closing days of the campaign, which contributed to her loss in the election."

I have edited both articles to ensure general consistency with this article in the Portland Tribune [1]. Capitalistroadster 23:54, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
