Golf Mill Shopping Center

Golf Mill Shopping Center is a super-regional shopping mall located on 239 Golf Mill Center in Niles, IL, United States. The mall has a gross leasable area of 987,993 square feet (92,000 m²).[1] It is owned by General Growth Properties. It borders the intersections of Golf Road (Illinois Route 58) and Milwaukee Avenue The mall has has a mixture of 120 specialty shops and four department stores as anchors. It opened to the public in October 1960 .[2]

Golf Mill Shopping began an expansion project in 2006. It became the first phase of the expansion. it included improving the exterior of the mall. New lighting, new flooring, improved entranceways, improved seating and walkways.

Kerasotes 12 Screen Theatres opened in 2006 with state of the art sound systems, reclining seats with armrests.

A new California based restaurant chain known as the Elephant Bar opened at Golf Mill in the summer of 2007.
