Acamptopappus is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. There are two species, both native to the deserts in southwestern North America. The name is derived from a- (not), campto- (bent), and pappus (down).
Acamptopappus species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Coleophora acamtopappi which feeds on A. sphaerocephalus.
