Golden State is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, CA. Band members include James Grundler (vocals/guitar), Robb Torres (guitar), Fern Sanchez (drums), and Tommy Black (bass). Vocalist James Grundler is known for his critically acclaimed rock band called Paloalto. James' work with Paloalto on the band’s two albums on American Recordings were produced by the bearded beastie known as Rick Rubin and gained the respect of his peers such as Elton John, Bono, and Scott Weiland.
