Goldbach is a Marktgemeinde, one of the higher population municipalities in the district of Aschaffenburg, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated 4 km northeast of Aschaffenburg.

The existence of Goldbach was first documented in 1218. Since the middle of the 15th century, Goldbach belonged to the Archbishopric of Mainz until the German Mediatisation. In 1814, it became part of Bavaria, and on May 26, 1995, it was given the status of a Marktgemeinde.
