[edit] Coupe Roadster

Hello. Regarding the Coupe Roadster article, is this exclusively a Mercedes-Benz body style? If so, it should be made clear that it is. SamH 13:31, 23 Oct 2004 (UTC)

The phrase Coupe Roadster may very well have been popularized by Mercedes-Benz but not exclusively. Note the early Chevrolet Corvette and Corvette Stingray. Perhaps also the Jaguar E-type? A more recent application is in the Mazda Miata Mx5. GoFlyi 14:03, 23 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Sorry, you seem to have misunderstood what I was getting at. To rephrase, does the name Coupe Roadster apply only to MB vehicles, or is it just another term for a convertible with a removable hardtop? SamH 17:34, 23 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Your original question: "is this exclusively a Mercedes-Benz body style?" No it is not. There are many makes that have Coupe Roadster style. Regarding your rephrase: "does the name Coupe Roadster apply only to MB vehicles" No. Coupe Roadster is not a name only for MB vehicles. I present the term Coupe Roadster as a means to describe and represent this particular car body style for any vehicle. GoFlyi 19:10, 24 Oct 2004 (UTC)
