Hawking and Ellis picture of behavior of light emitted from an event on the symmetry axis of the Goedel lambdadust solution: light spirals outwards, forms a circular cusp (a null curve, but not a null geodesic), then spirals back inwards and reconverges at a later event on the symmetry axis.
