Goehner is a village in Seward County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Lincoln, Nebraska Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 186 at the 2000 census.

Goehner is located at 40°49′58″N, 97°13′13″W (40.832663, -97.220193)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.4 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 186 people, 75 households, and 48 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,075.2 people per square mile (422.4/km²). There were 77 housing units at an average density of 445.1/sq mi (174.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.46% White and 0.54% Asian.

There were 75 households out of which 24.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.3% were married couples living together, 1.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.7% were non-families. 29.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 3.56.

In the village the population was spread out with 23.7% under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 27.4% from 45 to 64, and 18.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 124.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 108.8 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $42,143, and the median income for a family was $58,125. Males had a median income of $27,159 versus $30,893 for females. The per capita income for the village was $19,782. None of the families and 1.6% of the population were living below the poverty line.
