Along with Carnage and Entombed, God Macabre are the first death metal bands from Sweden and as such very important to the genre in the early 90s and as such meet WP:band Spearhead 18:37, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've just put "God Macabre" into Google and at least the first 30 pages are directly related to this band. Also check here for an undisputed entry in German wiki. Bubba hotep 19:55, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- Furthermore, being on Relapse Records is enough for notability anyway. Notable independent label who used to have Mastodon on their books (now Warner) and have a number of bands on the roster who are themselves notable. Bubba hotep 20:01, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
