This is a screenshot in an inferior graphics format, JPEG, and any copies of the image will also be inferior.
The image is being used only in one article about the various characters in the different versions of the series. The image is used for informational and educational purposes in both articles.
It is believed that use of this image will not infringe on the rights of Douglas Adams's estate or the BBC, or interfere in the sales of the TV series by the BBC or its distributors. The BBC as a public service broadcaster funded by a universal licence fee has stated a "share" policy for the referencing or remixing of content created by licence fee funded services. [1]
