Godheim is a viking metal band from Brazil. They play a song like Ensiferum, Thyrfing, Kromlek, Finntroll and others. Song with themes about Viking, Norse Mythology and with heavy melodies and musicality folk.

Godheim was founded in November, 2006 by Thales Braga (drums), Pedro Nasser (guitars) and Yago Sant'anna (guitars). The name was inspired on a search about the Norse mythology, than they found "Godheim", that means "the rest of gods".

In the begining the band had choosed to play Power Metal. After some months, Augusto Scartezini joined on vocals, but after some time he left due to private reasons. In the same month he left, Arthur Philip joined on guitars. Some days later, Yago Sant'anna left the band too. In the middle of the same year, Gustavo Araujo joined on vocals.

Some weeks later, Augusto Scartezini came back, now on bass, but then he had to retire again. They played some covers, but not satisfied playing Power Metal, they thought about try songs with Viking and Norse mythology themes, then they decided change to Viking Metal.

In the end of 2007, Beatriz Bonach joined on keyboards. Now prepared, they started to produce their own songs to record a demo, called "The Rise Of Gods", that will be released on 2008.
