Goch is a town in the district of Kleve, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated near the border with the Netherlands, approx. 12 km south of Kleve, and 27 km southeast of Nijmegen. It is twinned with the town of Andover in England.
The family name Van Goch (also spelled Van Gogh) refers to this town.
The Spanish author, military leader, and goveror of the Spanish Netherlands, Francisco de Moncada, died here in 1635.
