Go!Messenger

Go!Messenger is a free Instant Messenger Program for the PlayStation Portable. It has been jointly developed by SCEE and BT. It was introduced to the system with the 3.90 firmware update and the Go!Messenger icon has been added under Network. It is currently only available in European PSP models ( PSP-1002K, PSP-1003K, PSP-1004K, PSP-2002K, PSP-2003K, PSP-2004K ) but for users from the US Go!Messenger isn't supported, but can also be used with a modified file made by Sony for NON PAL regions. Users have been able to download Go! Messenger since February 29 2008. Go!Messenger allows PSP users to:
- Send Instant Messages to each other
- Video Chat with the Go!Cam
- Send Video and Voice Messages to other PSP users
You can now add Go!Messenger to the US PSP version as long as you are running the most recent firmware (3.90 as of 3/3/08).
Homebrew Exploit
- Hackers have managed to run the program in their custom firmware by setting the region to Europe.
- Fanjita a PSP Hacker also made a program Furikup. The Clarity of the Voice is not clear as Go!Messenger.
