[edit] License tagging for Image:Gpl and open-source.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gpl and open-source.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:06, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] IMatrix
I just noticed your new article on IMatrix Corporation. First of all, "corporation" is misspelled. You can fix that by using the page move function. Secondly, you need to tell the reader why this corporation is important. See WP:CORP for guidelines on the inclusion of corporations. Erik the Rude 19:41, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
You can either redirect your user page to your talk page, or you can click "My Preferences" and follow the instructions. I've never done that myself, so if you need help, try the Wikipedia:Help desk. Erik the Rude 21:39, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Customizing your signature
I came across your talk page via IMatrix, and I noticed your comments about customizing the ~~~~. This page will help you figure it out. In my opinion, it takes a lot of trial and error to get it just right. If you have any more questions, feel free to leave me a message. Have a great day and happy editing! - Here's a pretty simple signature that might work for you. It has both a link to your user page and a link to your talk page. Go to "my preferences" link at the top right of the screen. In the "nickname" field, copy this into the text box exactly: [[User:00 tux|00 tux]] | [[User talk:00 tux|talk]]. This should make your signature look something like this: 00 tux | talk. (Currently the talk link isn't linked because self-referencing links are bold instead of a link). Make sure there is a check in the "raw signature" check box. Click on "save" and you should be ready to go. I hope that helps. Amalas =^_^= 13:50, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] open source wifi drivers
I know what OpenHAL is, I just didn't think it was enough of a change from regular MadWifi to warrant it's own entry in the table, perhaps just a note at the bottom of the table.
Regarding your errors it looks like you'll have to fiddle with the makefile to get OpenHAL compiling properly on Linux. I'm not sure about the regdomain error with OpenBSD, the ath man page does not mention the error or anything regarding specifying a regdomain. You may want to have a look at the source code and possibly write a patch.
I am a Gentoo and OpenBSD user by the way. I'm pretty sure I've seen your username on the gentoo forums asking about OpenHAL. dystopianray 23:55, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] TiVo and open source software
I reverted your TiVo edit for a few reasons. Firstly, it was poorly written from a grammatical stance. Secondly, the way it was worded made it read as being very POV. Thirdly, I don't feel that it's worthy of being included. While I realize that TiVo's policies are of concern to open source enthusiasts, I just don't think it's necessary to have that in the article. However, that's not my call to make, so perhaps if you re-wrote the section to make it more gramatically sound and asked if it was appropriate on the talk page, it could be added to the article, assuming others agree. - seinman 04:51, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Acer Aspire 5020
A tag has been placed on Acer Aspire 5020, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Turlo Lomon 11:15, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Isafer 02.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:53, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

==Speedy deletion of Image:Osi-certified.jpg==
A tag has been placed on Image:Osi-certified.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image which is not under a free license or in the public domain and it has not been used in any article for more than seven days.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
