supported OSes for porting section; removed for simplicity, someone can put it back in if they can make it a little more than just a list.


Critique on "piggy backing remark": porting still remains necessary, specially for "out of the ordinary" platforms with e.g. deviating linkers.

More so even for GPC because they work with patches to gcc, and are not part of the general gcc multi (computer)lingual distribution.
