[edit] Rhythmic Syllogism
- If something rhymes it must be true
- The converse is not true, that is: If something does not rhyme, it can still be true.
- If two conflicting rhymes are presented, a third rhyme must be found to resolve the dispute, or the newer rhyme is considered 'more true,' in the event that a third rhyme cannot be found
- In the case that a rhyme should be internal, it is considered 'more true,' than an end rhyme. This applies when there is a conflict between two rhymes (point two) as well as if a poem itself has internal and end rhyme.
- Proposed Point: If a rhyme is published and distributed, it is considered 'more true' than the alternative.
[edit] Four Groups
There are, in my opinion, four groups of people.
- Intelligensia, viz. those who display qualities of intelligence or ingenuity, ergo one who is 'gifted' or 'endowed' with genius.
- Mediocrity, namely the mass population. If one is not in another group, one is 'normal'.
- Quiet Stupid, or those who are not too smart, but at least shut up about it.
- FS or Flagrantly Stupid, or those who are ridiculously stupid and can't seem to not project the stupidity onto others. These people are more of a black hole of intelligence, sucking the intelligence and will to live of those around them.
There is also a subgroup, which could fit into any of the other groups. Crazy People who are usually intelligent, but may not be. These are the non-conformists (not fucking goths... they are FS) and the psychos, many of whom end up in high-powered positions, or in jail.
[edit] Typographic Efficiency
- Instead of ending a sentence or phrase with an '!' (Exclamation mark), one simply capitalizes the last letter of the phrase.
- Multiple exclamation marks become multiple ending capitals.
- 'Hey yoU', instead of 'Hey you!'
- 'ShuT UP', instead of 'Shut up!!!'
- Instead of ending a sentence or phrase with a '?' (Question mark), one simply bolds the last word of the phrase.
- 'Are you coming' instead of 'Are you coming?'
- Instead of ending a sentence with '...' (Elipses), one simply italicizes the last word of the phrase.
- 'If you know what I mean' instead of 'If you know what I mean...'
- Typographic Efficient Rules can be combined:
What's up
NothinGNothing |
What's up?
Nothing...!Nothing...? |
[edit] To Do List
Add a point to Rhythmic Syllogism as per the problems presented by 'year after year (.)' Oh fuck.
