GMTV Grampian is the regional news strand for the North of Scotland provided by Macmillan Media for the Channel 3 (ITV) breakfast station GMTV.
Before December 3, 2007, the regional news strand during GMTV was provided by the regional ITV franchise holder SMG plc, which continues to provide its in-house regional news output during the broadcasting hours of the ITV Network (9.25am-6.00am).
The English and Welsh ITV franchises, all of which are held by ITV plc, provide the regional news output during GMTV's broadcasting hours (6.00am-9.25am).
