Gmina Janowiec Kościelny is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Nidzica County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Janowiec Kościelny, which lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Nidzica and 55 km (34 mi) south of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The gmina covers an area of 136.25 square kilometres (52.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 3,443.
