GM stands for Gusenichnaya Machina in Russian (Russian: Гусеничная машина) and is a series of track (caterpillar) vehicle chassises. Generally, the series is produced by Metrovagonmash (former Mytyschinskiy Mashinostroitelniy Zavod, MMZ), part of the Transmashholding since 2002
