From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The General Motors E-Body was the basis for a number of personal luxury cars produced from 1966 to 2002. The 1986–1993 E-bodies were produced at GM's high-tech Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly plant.
This body shell designation was the basis for the following vehicles:
- 1967–2002 Cadillac Eldorado
- 1966–1992 Oldsmobile Toronado
- 1966-1970, 1979–1993 Buick Riviera.
The 1971-1978 Riviera was built from the GM B platform. Information regarding other year Riviera's body designations (1963-1965) is currently unverified.
