[edit] Waterbury
Sorry you were offended by the remarks I left to warn away advertisers from the Waterbury article. It's happened a number of times to this single article. I'm monitoring a lot of other towns with pretty much the same problem over and over. In other places I have some help, though I get sick of it after a while. Many new editors are well meaning and honestly have no idea that "Joe's Garage" doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. I was aiming that remark at them and would really prefer that it remain as a "scarecrow" to warn them away - that I/we have already considered their idea and don't care for it. This saves time. If you would like to rephrase the warning to your satisfaction, I would appreciate it. I have notes all over Wikipedia like this and you are the first to take exception. Otherwise I will replace it the next time "Sam, the Lawyer" shows up in that article. Which, given the laws of probability, without any cautionary warnings, will probably be next week.
