Talk:Glossary of library and information science

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i deleted the entry for thesis because it really doesn't make sense under LIS terms, it's an aspect of all expository writing.

Why not create separate articles for each of these terms? Each paragraph could be the seed of a fully-expanded encyclopedia article. GUllman 19:42 17 Jun 2003 (UTC)

You can put them in seperate articles if you wish. They will all require a lot of work to be substantial enough for seperate articles. I cannot do that. This is not my area of expertice. This is just an assignment I had to do for an MBA course. I am putting all my time into writing marketing and economics articles, areas that I can write on with some authority. If you choose to take on this task, I warn you it is very time consuming. I have been doing just that for the marketing section. I've writen about 50 marketing articles and edited about 30 others and I am only about half done. mydogategodshat

I plan to do that, little by little, since this is my field of expertise. I'm just jealous that you're able to get college course credit for creating Wikipedia articles. GUllman

[edit] Moved

I've moved this article from Information science glossary of terms; the rename bring this more in line with Wikipedia naming conventions for glossaries. See, for example, Category:Lists of terms. - dcljr 01:09, 18 Sep 2004 (UTC)
