  • Seriously US-centric, with no mention of the role of wines such as the Super Tuscans and Penfolds Grange. And I'm not quite sure what the point of this article is, other than to serve as another platform for an anti-Parker rant. Might be best merged with New World wine, which talks about similar issues and is a bit more tangibly defined? FlagSteward 14:01, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
  • I've now rewritten it to reduce the overwhelmingly US-centric POV, which sounded more like a review of Mondovino than a Wikipedia article. It's still not great but then I'm not convinced that there's a real article in here. We've talked a bit about it over on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Wine (which I guess will end up in Archive 4) but I wouldn't miss this article if it were to disappear completely ;-/ On the other hand, I think there probably is a real article to be made about flying winemakers - who they are and what they do, and one option might be to rename this article Flying winemaker and turn it inside out. For now I'm marking it as a Mid Start in the Wine Project - could also do with some citations. FlagSteward 13:53, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
