Talk:GlobalSecurity.org

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Is there a story behind John Pike depature from FAS and the setting up of GlobalSecurity.org ........ 160.5.247.213 04:08, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

I believe I heard somewhere that it was a difference of politics, but I too would like to know more about what happened. --69.151.183.194 01:39, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Praise of..." section

I've removed the "Praise of GlobalSecurity.org" section, as it is blatantly biased to include a section exclusively containing praise from the media about the website. If somebody wants to add a "Press opinions of..." section that pretends to follow our NPOV policy, they are welcome to. Werdna648T/C\@ 20:32, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Two GlobalSecurity articles!

I have come across two different GlobalSecurity articles on Wikipedia. One is headed GlobalSecurity.org (SMALL o), the other is headed GlobalSecurity.Org (BIG o). The former is found by searching, the latter links from the article "John E Pike". This problem needs to be fixed by someone who knows their way round Wikipedia better than I do! 217.41.240.15 14:22, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dated

Should it be mentioned that a lot of the info on GlobalSecurity is dated? For example, there are a lot of articles about programs that have been cancelled, mixed with articles on active programs. Or when a program changes name, sometimes they'll have separate articles as if it was 2 programs. Updates are poorly done. Jigen III (talk) 00:19, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
