Glims Holm (OS: Glimps Holm; Old Norse Glums Holm [1]) is a small uninhabited islet in Orkney, Scotland. It is 50 ha in size.

[edit] History

It is linked by the Churchill Barriers to Orkney Mainland, Lamb Holm, Burray and South Ronaldsay. The causeways were built during World War II, largely by Italian prisoners of war, stationed in camp 60 on Lamb Holm.
