Glenn Straub is a famous investor from Palm Beach. He bought the Miami arena for $28 million back in 2004 in a public auction from Miami-Dade County. Straub has said that the arena, which has remained mostly inactive for the past four years, is part of a grand master plan to revitalize Downtown Miami within the years to come.
