Glenn Kirkham

Glenn Kirkham (born on October 8, 1982 in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire), educated at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Alford is an English field hockey player, who made his international senior debut for the national squad in January 2002 in a match against Poland. He is nicknamed Glenda, and played club hockey for Long Sutton. Currently Kirkham is playing for East Grinstead. Kirkham has been named England captain for 2006-07. He also teaches sport at the Perse School, Cambridge and used to play football for the youth team of Scunthorpe United FC.

Glenn has also been an above average cricket player in his time, representing the legendary team Alford & District Cricket Club, of the Lincolnshire Premier League
