Glenmerry Elementary is a public elementary school in Trail, British Columbia part of School District 20 Kootenay-Columbia. As of 2006, the principal is Kere MacGregor. In 2003, the staff decided to have separate classes for grade 7 boys and girls (except for Fine Arts and French). Since then, scores on the standardized Foundation Skills Assessment tests for grade 7 students have increased, and are now above the district and provincial levels. Mathematics scores were at 100% for boys and 88% for girls, reading scores were at 86% for boys and 82% for girls, and writing scores were 100% for both boys and girls.
