Gleison Tibau (born in Brazil) is a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He currently fights for the UFC. He was brought up as a fighter in Kimura team, from the northern part of Brazil. Today Tibau trains at American Top Team. Gleison's biggest strengths are his Wrestling and his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Although now a 155 lb. fighter, Tibau made his UFC debut against a strong Nick Diaz. Tibau started off strong and was taking Nick Diaz down efficiently and using well his Jiu-Jitsu, but he got tired and lost later due to TKO. Tibau, since then, changed divisions and won all his 3 fights in the Lightweight division. He lost his next fight against Tyson Griffin at UFC 81
