Gleb (name)

Gleb is a Russian and Ukrainian male name derived from the Old Norse name Guðleifr, which meant "heir of god." It has seen steady use in Slavic countries due to an early martyr Saint Gleb who is venerated by the Eastern Orthodox churches.[1]
