[edit] George Parsonage
Surely we need some sort of page dedicated to the Glasgow Green livesaver George Parsonage. Saved thousands of lives all along the River Clyde. More info can be found at his website at http://www.glasgowhumanesociety.org —Preceding unsigned comment added by BAzTNM (talk • contribs) 15:24, 28 September 2006

I agree. He has been on the river for decades, and his father before him. There have been Parsonages on the river for over a century. George is also a very talented sculptor and artist. (He was one of my art teachers at Whitehill Secondary School in Glasgow) For years, he was closely involved with the school rowing club, and spent a lot of time with them, or by himself skulling on the river.193.130.128.2 (talk) 15:55, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Peter Mirtitsch
