[edit] It's called Orbing, not Glamouring.

I specifically remember Paige saying that Whitelighters can Orb anywhere and into anyone they want. I am planning on changing the name, unless som eone can show where in canon it's called glamouring. Kairos 11:14, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

When did she say this, can you find a source, which episode did she say that?--NeilEvans 19:14, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Where would I get a source for dialogue form an episode? I'd prefer something I could link to?Kairos 08:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Well which episode did she say that Whitelighters could orb into any one they wanted. I would contest this and it if it was to be moved it should be added to the requested moves in the controversial section. If you can prove that Paige actually said this then it would be ok to just move it.--NeilEvans 18:48, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
This site [1] has transcripts for episodes, if you could find the right episode then you could put a link on the talk page and then people could comment on whether it should be moved or not.--NeilEvans 18:50, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

They don't yet have a script for he episode I think it's from the episode with the pandora's box.But I could be wrong..Kairos 09:03, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

It is that episode I did a bit of a search but only Paige says this, it is never consistently referred to as orbing.--NeilEvans 15:20, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Where is her whitelighter shape-altering referred to as glamouring? Kairos 13:51, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't remember the episode where Paige says she can orb into anyone she wants, how does she actually change is it using orb or not? The sisters, at the end of Season seven when they destroy the Nexus all glamour into new people using orb. If it is a whitelighter exclusive power, then Piper and Phoebe wouldn't be able to do it. I remember in "House Call" Paige morphs into Jessica, Glenn's fiancee. She says this is due to her Whitelighter power[2], Leo also morphs into Belthazor in "Power Outage", but neither occasion did they use orbs. They just changed like shapeshifters. Any time the sisters glamour they always use orbs.--NeilEvans 23:04, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

No, they quite specifically used a spell when they faked their deaths. We know this because they say it when they are fixing their spell in the first episode of season 8. You know when they went from having an endless array of identities to sticking with one appearance? And they wanted to look normal to each other? Now that may have been actual glamouring, rather than orbing. So there may be two different things... Kairos 01:16, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

That may be true. When Paige changed into Jessica she didn't use orbs and when Leo changed in "Y Tu Mummy Tambien", he didn't use orbs. This power is shown to be more like shapeshifting, it couldn't be called orbing as no orbs where involved. It could be that Whitelighters have two different powers which allow them to change shape. Just reading throuh the article. In Power Outage Leo does use orbs when he changes from Belthazor into his usual form, but in House Call Paige does not. This suggests that they are two different powers. One that uses orbs and one that doesn't. In Something Wicca This Way Goes, and the subsequent season 8, it is shown that their change is due to a spell. When Paige turned into Jessica she used her own power but didn't use orbs, when she and the sisters changed after destroying the Nexus, Paige uses orbs as it is revealed this is due to a spell.--NeilEvans 14:49, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

So, it does eema s if we agree that there are two different abilities being talked about there. One seems to be best described as glamouring, which the witch's use spells to accomplish. The other seems to be an innate, shapeshifting ability of whitelighters. Perhabs due to them really being orbs of light? Kairos 09:44, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes, but when Leo changed in Power Outage he used orbs, when he changed in Y Tu Mummy Tmabien he didn't. From that they both appear to be Whitelighter powers as Leo didn't use a spell either time and when Paige changed in House Call she didn't use orbs either she only used orbs when the three sisters changed their appearances at end of season 7 and start of season 8.--NeilEvans 17:28, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

If you are refering to "orbs" as the use of white lights, IMO that doesn't make the lights "orbs". IMO the first spell seemed to let them change their appearance at will, accompanied by a bright light when they changed. Kairos 10:33, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

The only time I can identify when Paige changed her form under her own power was in "House Call" she didn't use orbs or any kind of light effect she just "morphed" into Jessica. But when Leo changed in "Power Outage" he did use orbs, just like when he is orbing in or out.--NeilEvans 19:39, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
