Early Life
Little is known about Blizzard's early life. Early manuscripts recall a story of him peeing his Zebra pants in front of his entire 2nd grade class when both he and his teacher failed to get the drawstring untied. His love for dogs started early; as a child Blizzard had a dog which he lovingly named "J.R." which stood for "Justin's Rocket".
Education
Blizzard began his undergraduate studies at Southeastern College in 2000. The institution learned of his enrollment and immediately changed the school's status from the Collegiate level to University level. While in college, Blizzard became the rhythm guitarist for renowned air-band "Herem" which consisted of other SEU alums Marco Denis, Keith Krepcho & Michael Mader. The band's main goal was to set the world record for "Most Shows Played in a Single Evening." Despite popularity amongst the student body of SEU, the band failed to take off, they disbanded 2 months after their first "show." A year later, he joined a free-style walking crew using the handle "AirXpress." In his Junior year at SEU, he joined a rock and roll band named "The Wonder Years Project" which was later called "Monticello" and then quickly changed to "The Dead Dogs," which stuck. The band was dubbed by fellow SEU student Elise Ramos (see Elise RamosKrepcho) as, "The Princes of Johnson Chapel" referring to their most popular performance venue. They won the hearts of RAs and "big sisters" campus-wide with songs like "Cougar Attack" and a cover of the Pixies' "Rock Music" from their album Bossanova. The Dead Dogs disbanded in late 2003. It was approximately during this Junior/ Senior year that Justin met Williford "Willie" James Blizzard, his dog and closest companion. Blizzard graduated in 2008 with an education degree.
