Giuliano Giannichedda (born 21 September 1974 in Pontecorvo, Frosinone) is an Italian football (soccer) player, currently playing for Livorno. He is a midfielder, but can also play as a defender. He has three international caps for Italy, all in 1999. He is well known for his tackling and stamina.
He started his professional career with Sora of Serie C2, where he played for three seasons and gained promotion to Serie C1. After an impressive season, Giannichedda was signed in 1995 by Serie A side Udinese, where he quickly became one of the side's most outstanding players. He played for Udinese until 2001, when he joined Lazio.
After having played four seasons with Lazio, Giannichedda left the Roman team for Juventus in the summer of 2005 on a free transfer.
On 1 August 2007, he signed with Livorno.[1]
