[edit] "Different singles"

Re merge suggestion. Different singles, yes, but presumably with the same A-side? I don't see how this one is notable quite frankly. There's no need to have an article on everything the band ever released. Assuming it's the same song it would be better as a paragraph in the other article for the "real" single, imho. --kingboyk 15:50, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

They don't have the same A-side. Where do you get that from? Girls/Memphis Bells was The Prodigy's first single which also featured an emphasis on a digital download, therefore I think it deserves an article of its own. cun 15:59, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Did they make two songs called Girls? I don't follow... If you're adamant this one should standalone then so be it, I just think it's better to have several longer articles of good quality than lots of short ones. --kingboyk 17:26, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Memphis Bells is important in this single because of its first digital download. As Girls/Memphis Bells is mentioned as a standalone single, I really think it should be a separate article. But if you do some great work rewriting the articles surrounding it, I might not protest cun 18:18, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
A bit too busy with work on The KLF at the moment :) (we're up for Featured Article candicacy). I'll trust your superior judgement on this one. --kingboyk 19:49, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

(←) This appears to be a long-dead discussion, but I still think it's an issue. This particular release doesn't seem notable enough for its own release. I would suggest merging this into the main Girls article. There isn't any reason why discussion of the Memphis Bells download couldn't be discussed there, or, even better, in the Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned article. One thing life has taught me since 2006, is that discographies is a very messy issue. There exist quite a number of different versions for every release, and this does not just comply to The Prodigy. I don't know if this is worthy its own article anymore. It probably will fit perfectly under the Girls article. Just make sure to do a decent job :) cun 23:37, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Merger_proposal

Per some of the discussion above, I think this page should be merged into Girls (The Prodigy song), since this is basically a seperate article for a single vinyl release of the same song. Any comments? Drewcifer (talk) 23:23, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Don't Move - This is a released single, it deserves it's own article. It shouldn't be moved.--Gen. Quon (talk) 00:02, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
