"Girl Next Door" is the name of a single released in late 2005 by American pop rock band Saving Jane. The song was a relative success on Billboard charts. It describes an unpopular high school student jealous of another student's success as a cheerleader and beauty queen.
A version of this song was recorded in Simlish and was featured in The Sims 2: Pets expansion pack. Country singer Julie Roberts also recorded a version for her second studio album, 2006's Men & Mascara, although her version did not chart.
