Giovanna Botteri was born in Trieste, and holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the Sorbonne. Giovanna Botteri is an Italian television foreign policy journalist. From 1991 to 1996, she covered the conflict in Croatia and Bosnia.[citation needed] After featuring with Santoro in the TV programme Samarcanda, Giovanna Botteri has worked as a war correspondent for Channel 3 News from Algeria, South Africa, Iran, Albania and Kosovo.[citation needed]
Giovanna Botteri is the US correspondent for RAI italian broadcasting system.
