Giorgos Tzavelas (Greek: Γιώργος Τζαβέλας) (born November 11, 1987 in Athens, Greece) is a Greek footballer. He is a passionate Left Winger currently playing for Panionios ,Greece in the Greek Superleague. Tzavelas achieved a huge boost on his career, after signing in Superleague side, Kerkyra FC, on 2006, after being a personal choice of coach Mpampis Tennes. He seized all opportunities given, and was soon a speculated transfer for all major Greek Superleague teams. His transfer from Kerkyra FC to Panionios, was a record high transfer-out for the Corfu island team, estimated at 200000€ plus a 10% fee for any next transfer the player achieves.
Tzavelas is also a member of the Greece U21 National Football Team.
