Giorgio Borruso is a renowned Italian architect, best known for his innovative experiential designs for international retail fashion houses. Educated at universities in Italy and Spain, Borruso relocated his firm as Giorgio Borruso Design in 2000, in Venice, Los Angeles, California.

Borruso first came to worldwide attention in 2001 with Miss Sixty at South Coast Plaza, with his unique design of the "cocoon dressing rooms." To date, his works have appeared in over one thousand publications, have received over eighty international design awards, and have become integral part of museum collections worldwide, including the Chicago Athenaeum and the Red Dot Museum in Essen, Germany. Borruso was named Retail Design Luminary in 2006 for his visionary leadership in the field, and Designer of the Year in 2005 by DDI magazine. He is also a frequent guest lecturer on innovation, design, and architectural theory at universities and conferences globally. His most recent works include FORNARINA London[1][2] and the Snaidero USA showroom in Coral Gables.[3]
